This picturesque lane is flanked on the northern side by Týn Church. At no 2 stands the House at the Black Stag (U černého jelena), a neo-Gothic structure standing on the site of a house where famous Czech artist Karel Škréta was born 1604. The cellar features a vaulted chamber dating from the Romanesque period.
Further along the street, at no. 6, is the House at the Golden Ring (U zlatého prstenu), a Gothic house rebuilt in the late Renaissance style and featuring a Gothic portal. It is now home to part of the City of Prague Gallery (Galerie hlavního města Prahy).
