Located in Malá Strana (Lesser Town), this magnificent Baroque, terraced garden is of the city’s most prominent tourist attractions. The garden dates to the 18th century and is part of a palace complex that is a registered UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The garden includes impressive statues and frescoes; the former President Václav Havel together with Prince Charles set up a fund to restore them. The garden is the site of many outdoor events, such as concerts and weddings, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. Despite being situated in a very touristy area, the garden is hidden away from the foot traffic and can provide a calm oasis for a serene stroll or any type of gathering.
