The large and lush Kunratice Forest is located in the middle of Prague 4 - Modřany district. The forest is easily accessible from the metro station Roztyly and offers Prague residents green space for lovely strolls, sport activities and entertainment. It is also home to a variety of trees, some of which are national trees, there is a number of animals including deer, a lake called Swan Lake, etc.
There is a large number of walking and cycling trails and designated areas for playing, eating and resting, not to forget the playgrounds for children. Interestingly, the forest is also home to the location of King Václav IV’s death.
