Fruit Market

The eastern part of the former St Gall’s Town, founded in 1232 by King Václav I in the area of the Church of St Gall, centres around the former Fruit Market.

The space is dominated by the Estates Theatre and the adjacent Karolinum, but the structure at no. 4 is also of note. The former Kolovrat Palace, which boasts an Early Baroque façade dating from around 1700, is now part of the Estates Theatre next door.
