The Chancellery of the President

The former Chancellery of the President of Czechoslovakia was housed in the buildings lining the southern side of the Third Courtyard, opposite St Vitus Cathedral. Behind the façades are the remains of much older structures: the Early Baroque palace of Emperor Rudolf II, the Queen’s Palace, from the Early Baroque period, and the Palace of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II.

The former Chancellery is not open to the public.
